Have you thought of getting a crossbow? This fall will be my third season with mine. We bought my crossbow when I was pregnant with Audrey. I tore my abdomen apart when I was pregnant with Addie. It’s gotten a lot better, but I wasn’t about to take any chances again using my compound bow. Nick ordered me a CenterPoint Sniper370. It had good reviews, but it was so inexpensive we weren’t expecting much.
I have to say we were pretty shocked how accurate, light, and consistent this crossbow and scope were. The whole package comes with a scope, quiver, rope cocker, and shoulder sling too. It runs around $300 now. You’d have to spend a lot more to find another crossbow that competes with it.
It was super consistent through our last deer season in GA, and my most exciting harvest with it was a 70yd shot at my first pronghorn. If you’re looking at getting a crossbow and you don’t want to drop 1-2k+, you’ll not be disappointed with this bow.
